The installed capacity of both power stations will be 850 MW.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://powermin.nic.in/whats_new/PFR/J-K/Ratle.pdf )〕 On 25 June 2013, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh laid the foundation stone for the dam.
